Marketing PR agency junior job
Are you looking for a way to break into an agency career? Are you in the first year of your marketing, PR or comms studies? Or maybe you’re on a gap year before starting – but you know that’s what you want to do?
If so, this is quite possibly your dream job. And we’re prepared to work around the right person and tailor the role 3-5 days a week depending on your study needs.
We’re a small north shore agency (right near a station) with a diverse split of clients ranging from health, B2B and small business clients. You’d gain exposure to strategy, social media, blogging, website development, promotions, branding, competitions, podcasts, research, amongst a raft of other things.
You’ll need to have;
- a love of writing ,
- an eye for detail,
- a desire to get in, get your hands dirty and get the job done and
- most of all, want to learn all there is about marketing, PR and client service.
This is not ‘just a job’. If you’re the right person, you’ll grow your career with us for several, if not, many years. But let’s be clear, you will be starting at the bottom. That also means collecting the mail, doing washing up, admin, answering phones, research – essentially whatever needs to be done whilst you learn and hone your craft.
To get started, submit your CV and a copy of your writing (can be any kind of writing you like – fiction, media release, reportage, review, blog). Please send your CV, cover letter and writing samples to Kristin-at-kristinaustin.com
Please note: This is a true junior role for those aged between 16-21 for those at the very beginnings of their working careers. You must be an Australia resident to apply for this position.
A note for recruiters: We’ll be handling the recruitment process ourselves. No CVs will be accepted from recruiters. Any candidate CVs submitted by or on behalf, of a recruiter, will be deemed to have been submitted by the candidate themselves and be the immediate property of Kristin Austin Marketing. Thus no fees will be payable, regardless of the outcome.
